Adopt A Highway
Each year as the snow melts, we begin to see the signs of Spring – birds nesting, flowers blooming, and all that trash along Route 194 between Littlestown and Hanover. Enter the Jaycees. Our first Adopt A Highway cleanup for 2011 will occur on Sunday, April 10th. We will begin at 9am at 194 Service Center at 850 Hanover Pike in Littlestown. Show up a little early for a quick sugary snack. Usually just two hours of your time is needed.
History: Each year, the Littlestown Jaycees keep our community clean by the adoption of Route 194 starting at the borough line and ending 3 miles northeast toward Hanover. With PennDot's help, we usually hit the highway 3-4 times per year to do our part. If everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot. If you would like to help, please contact info@littlestownjaycees.com
